Open the map, accept the location information and grant permission. An active trial or Premium unlocks new discoveries.
The fog clears around your position. Saved discoveries merge into a single explored area you can revisit.
Every new area adds to your map. Check your explored surface, daily discoveries and next milestones.

YOUR HISTORY BELONGS TO YOU
Exploration history and your profile are stored locally. Export a backup file and take your discoveries to another device. You do not need a Discoverer account.
The map requires internet access and requests OpenStreetMap tiles. The provider receives your IP address and requests for the area you view. Exported backups and logs may contain location data and are not encrypted by the app.

Eligible new subscribers can start a 7-day trial at no charge after accepting the offer in Google Play.
Viewing discoveries, statistics, exports and imports remain available without a subscription.
An active subscription or trial lets you record new discoveries, including during an ongoing session while the app is minimized.
After the trial, the subscription renews automatically every month. Google Play displays the price and terms before purchase. Cancel renewal in Google Play before the trial ends to avoid a charge. Installation alone does not start a trial.
BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT
History and settings are stored locally, but the map requires an internet connection. We do not offer whole-map downloads for offline use. Subscription checks need Google Play connectivity; the local access confirmation lasts up to 24 hours after successful verification.
A session started in Discover can continue recording location while minimized or with the screen off. It uses an Android notification. Returning from Discover to the menu ends the session.
You can increase the position refresh interval to 10 seconds in configuration. Battery use depends on your device, GPS reception, settings and screen-on time. It is not the same on every phone.
Export a backup and keep it outside your phone first. Import the file on your new device. Exploration history does not automatically sync to the cloud. Restore Premium separately through Google Play.
The current version is for individual exploration. It does not offer groups, public profiles or synchronization of other people’s discoveries.
Clear Discoverer’s app data in Android settings or uninstall the app to remove local history and your profile. Delete exported copies separately. Uninstalling does not cancel your subscription; manage it in Google Play.
